Hi, I'm having issues with my iphones keyboard buttons not working. The spacebar, return, and .?123 buttons cannot be accessed. Its not actually an error with the screen (the bottom of the screen works when its not in keyboard and on other apps.) When I'm touching those keys directly above it are activated. Any ideas on what to do here. And is anyone else experiencing this problem. I can text but cannot respond to a text and safari obviously wont work since i cant add the .com or space with google. Thanks in advance.

Odd... sounds like a software glitch. Press restore and see if the glitch is fixed. If it isn't...
try downloading your firmware off the net, then restoring by pressing shift > restore, choose the downloaded firmware and install it.
Other than that I can't think of anything you could do. or downgrade / upgrade your firmware.

yeah ive already restored it....no change....it seems definately like a software problem to me but....i dont know whate else can be done....any other suggestions....i dont see why downloading the firmware would be any different if it came directly from itunes in the first place but i can still try that.....let me know...

am facing exactly same problem on my iphone , did you fix it at all ? and if yes PLZ tell me how ! thanks bro

Ive had this problem, i just reset my phone and it fixed it... It happened again tho and it carried over to the homescreen that time, i ended up just tapping the bottom of the screen and it eventually fixed the problem...

If you've restored and the problem hasn't been fixed you can take it to Apple for a replacement. They'll plug it into their diagnostic laptop and see that you restored recently (to be safe I'd do it again before you leave for the store).
