well i've got an iphone 3g and i kind of dropped it when i tried to grab it out of my pocket, and now it doesnt show a screen nor is it turned on. So now i gotta know is there a way to like fix this because i had this jailbroken so i think i cant go in with the waranty, i still have some doubts i don't know how they actually check it but since it's not able to turn on, when i connect it to the computer it won't detect it. Will they know if i just went to the apple shop? if so what should i do.

Thanks in advance,

How does one 'kind of drop it'?

Afraid you're screwed. They'll get a reading off the shockometer and know it was dropped.
