Every time we picked up the iPhone 5 components, we put it back on the running belt real hard and scold fxxk just to release our stress.
Are you going to stop buying apple products in protest ??
Every company does this buddy. Name me 5 things in your entire house that are not made in Asia. Besides food and energy.
Don't forget the 100 billion in the bank.Apple built that better mousetrap. The price is what the market will bear.
Well I for one bla blah rabble rabble and I just think that yadda yadda jibber jabber at Foxconn and Apple.
This that and the other thing labor costs and on and on about slavery and suicide.
This is just etc. etc. rambling no one cares and Apple needs to do this or that, NOW!
PS. Rhetoric.
Am I doing it right?
How's this. We make the iPhone in America. Then each iPhone will cost $5000.
Yeah, that's a good idea.
This is a prime example of someone who just doesn't understand how the world works... This is what's wrong with humanity... People read one article and then form these ridiculous opinions on them. Just like Kony... People form opinions based on one stupid video that may or may not be true and care for about 5 minutes. Then it's water under the bridge...
If the iPhone was made in the US, you'd be paying over $4000+ for a phone. (If not more...) Then everyone bitches and complains that it's so expensive... Also, it seems people think Apple is the only company that uses factories like such. When in fact most companies do. You hate these 'slave labour' companies, but then you complain when prices are too high. Apple provides these people a chance to actually live their life. Sure, they may have long hard hours... But at least they're getting paid. If it wasn't for Foxconn, they'd be on the street somewhere, or possibly an even worse working environment. If my rent was only $14 a month, I'd be happy with $5. Before you jump to conclusions, do a bit of research and actually understand the whole process before reading one stupid article and making assumptions.
/End rant.
what I think it rich is people believe that.
If it was made in the US yeah labor would be more but also units produced per labor hour would be higher and QA would be better.
Reason being is in the US we would relay more on robots. In China and Foxconn they use humans as robots. Which means greater human error and more problems. Labor cost are not high enough there to go over to robots.

Oh look someone saying I am sorry for Apple but really has not looked into it. Facts say other wise. Cost would not jump and quality would be better. Oh wow what a concept. There is a reason why Chinese made good are call cheap Chinese made crap.

People aways talk about cheaply produced Chinese-made crap, but lets face it, both good AND bad products that have made it to market have been made in China. The cheap Chinese stuff is cheap, and the good stuff isn't cheap.
