Other iPhone Launch Question

Got kind of a unique situation going on. I am traveling to Europe beginning next Wednesday, meaning I will most likely be there on launch day. What are my options? Is there anyway for me to get the phone while I am over there? I am on Verizon in the US.

Wait until Tuesday, to get an idea if there will be some band differences.

For example, here is the list of models and their band coverage.

iPhone XS in US has a band that Europe does not and vice-versa. In the case of US, they have the 600MHz band, but, believe only T-Mobile is using that.

And, depending on where you're at, that iPhone might be higher priced in USD vs wait until you get home and pick up then.
