iPhone low battery indicator

Hey everyone, I jailbroke my iPhone and noticed that when it gets to 20%, the battery indicator goes all screwy. Originally I thought it was just my iPhone, but then I got a 3GS (did not restore from backup) and when it went down to 20% and the same thing happened again. Does anyone know if this issue is due to jailbreak or something I installed or a theme?

Apps That i have from Cydia:
Winterboard
SBsettings
iblank (the thing that makes fake spaces)
and that's it.

Thanks anyway. I'll keep looking in my iPhone for any irregularities. I think it might be related to Winterboard though.

But yes I have the same error. Has only occurred since JB and installing Cydia, SBSettings, Winterboard, MIME, Terminal, 3G Unregistrictor.

Who know which app is causing it. I suspect SBSettings.

Actually, I found out the source of the problem, but can't fix it yet. It was because of winterboard, and because of the theme I had.

In the folder inside the theme folder: Bundles -->com.apple.springboard --> en.lproj, there was a Springboard.strings text file. I opened it and found out that it uses
<key>LOW_BATT_MSG_LEVEL</key>
<string>%d%% of battery remaining</string>

for the low battery message.

While it worked fine on 2.2.1 software, it doesn't behave nicely on the 3.0. %d%% might have been changed to something else. Ive checked the Springboard.strings text file but it seemed to be encrypted, therefore i couldn't access it.

Does anyone know the fix to that? Right now I've just disabled that theme and the battery indicator works fine.

well if your battery indicator is working on the top perfectly
why go to the hassle to fix the 20% notification because i think it looks cooler that way hahahah but up to you :]

I Had the same issue. It is probably one of your themes or lockscreens in Winterboard. Assuming you are jailbreaking.

Mine was caused by the Rusty Lockscreen. Deleted it and battery percentages are back to normal 20% and 15% warnings.
