Strange thing just happened. I updated a Cydia tweak "SmartCameraShutter" this morning and after respringing the phone said "calling..." on the lockscreen. When I unlocked it appeared to making a call to "MCS"
I don't have any contact or anything else on my phone called MCS. No sound was coming from the earpiece and hitting the red "hang up" button did nothing.
I immediately did a hard reset and ran jailbreakme again and it all seems normal now. Does anyone know what the heck that was? Should I be concerned? Attempting to attach a screenshot of the call screen.
I'm iPhone 6+ JB 9.3.3
Thanks,
Tys

Does your call log show the phone number?

If so, do a Google search on the number.

No it doesn't.
I have iBlacklist installed and it blocks anyone not in my contacts. It also prevents them from showing up in the call log.
But I think I figured it out!
I recently changed my T-mobile plan and it has a new caller ID feature.
When I googled MCS, a local company from whom I've gotten previous automated sales calls was the first result.
I think they were calling and since the phone was in the middle of a respring, iBlacklist didn't catch it and it showed as an incoming call (which I mistook for a mysterious outgoing call), and the new T-mo feature correctly identified it as MCS despite my not having a contact with that name.
I must have rebooted the phone before the call could actually connect which is why I couldn't hear anything.
And I thought my phone had been hacked and was phoning home to upload all my personal data! Haha:p
