iphone making speakers constantly buzz and battery life

hello and thanks for looking.
my iphone (2g) which has been jb has been acting up lately.
heres the problems...
its been making the speakers buzz non stop and the battery life has decreased a lot all of a sudden. i am honestly lost right now so any help on how to fix this would be great

Sounds like it's retaining a constant connection to the network. I have no idea what could be causing it as I don't know what's on your phone but I would suggest a hard reset for starters. Press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until the screen goes black. Turn it back on if it doesn't do it automatically.
