Hey everyone!

I'm having a problem with my iOS5 update.
I updated it and after my sync it said my memory was full, while i had about 8 gigabytes of storage left on my 32G iPhone4

8,5 gigabytes is now listed as 'other' when I look at the capacity window in iTunes.
What is this? How do I get my storage back? Cause I had to erase some songs to make room because it was full.

I tried restoring it but it keeps coming back :-s

and my iPad2 sync is not going that well either with certain photo albums not syncing...

Down from 14GB to 2GB in one step

I tried every single thing to solve the "other" memory problem on my jailbroken iphone 4s... It consumed 14GB out of my 32
Just delete the syslog file using ifile or SSH... Tried to figure out the Purpose of the syslog file, im not really sure of its function but from wut i figured it shouldnt have an important function, i deleted it and my phone is functioning perfectly
Just go to
Var/mobile/library/logs
U will find the file there, just hold ur breath and delete, this file by itself took out 12GB out of my memory
Wit u should do after is disable the syslog toggle on SBSettings
Cheers

Download the mac app 'iExplorer'

When I had this issue, I had a bunch of zipf files under:
Your iPhone>Media>Application Archives

These aren't needed - delete them all out.
