And again the EU has hobbled us Apple users…

iPhone mirroring is not working in the EU for some lehal reasons. Will it work ine day, nobody knows and a part or the Sequoia benefits are not accessible here.

What’s your take on this?

I actually sent email to EU about that and they claim that Apple decided to not release it for EU and they didn't do anything. I dunno if I believe them

The only reason Apple is blocking certain features in the EU is that they wanna get users to have a negative opinion about the DMA and other EU regulations so that they might eventually be softened up.

If sidecar on the iPad is compliant, so is iPhone mirroring.
Not sure about that

I am no longer bothered by such things.

Guess they just wait for Apple to release it here and then they will act upon it…
I doubt Apple blocks a feature without good reason
The strange bit is that you can actually see it on the Mac. Once you click on it, it shows a message saying it's not available in my region (France). Why keep it then?
