This worked fine when I was using the beta versions of Mac OS 15 and iOS 18 but since installing the versions released on Sept. 9 it no longer works just get message 'iPhone timed out'.

I may be in a small group of users but I found the iPhone mirroring to be unnecessary clutter and I turned it off. When I am sitting at my Mac my iPhone is right next to it. I found it was a needless window up on the screen, and it was a better experience just using my phone vs. the mirrored phone.

Maybe there are other use cases that make it a wonderful feature, I don't know...
