There is a ringtones tab in iTunes 7.3 to allow that feature.

Duplicate threads are as annoying as personal ring tones, IMNSHO.

anf just ftr apples included ringtones are not "crappy/ugly". they are 100x better than any included tones i've heard on phones. it actually appears that apple put time and thought into the composition of their tones.

Sry... i didnt' find anything that's y i posted. So u can assign ringtones to different contacts... and if it's on itunes that means u can't control it from iPhone?
