I just had my first experience with the iPhone at my local Apple Store. It was AMAZING - so cool and revolutionary. However, mine was plugged up to a set of Bose On-Ear Headphones (I own the same exact pair). I took a listen to some of the songs, and frankly, I was disappointed. For me it paled in comparison to my 5g. I also tried to find an equalizer, but had no luck. I was wondering, what are your opinions of the audio quality of the iPhone?

There is an equalizer under settings from the main phone menu. It will play any audio a regular iPod will play.

You know it uses the same audio processor as the 5.5g iPod's?

Technically there is no difference in audio quality, and I find it to be equal personally, that's using my ATH-A900's with an adapter too.

Yep, the fact is proven that it uses the same audio processor as the 5.5g ipod, so it should sound exactly the same. Check the video on youtube of them taking it apart, they show its the same thing.
