This can't be normal, can it?
My iPhone battery died today before I could get it on to charge and when it finally gathered itself enough juice to connect to iTunes, it said that that the iPhone needed to be restored before it could continue.
This is the second time this has happened. I find it hard to believe that a dead battery would trigger an error of proportions large enough to need to start all over in terms of the software (although I did notice earlier this afternoon when I synced the phone that I did have a crash report from the last time my battery died).
What gives? Does anyone else have to restore their iPhone this often?
