Hi,

Have a really strange problem. Sometimes, I can't tell when exactly it happens but occasionally it doesn't seem like my phone is connected to any network because if people send me a message, and it doesn't matter if it's iMessage, Facebook or Instagram, the messages don't deliver.

It only happens when the phone is sleeping, never when I'm on it. It can't have to do with wifi or bad coverage, because it's happened both at home with great wifi and out on LTE, still happens.

Any ideas? Can't find anything about this.
iPhone 6 on iOS 10.2.1

This is strange, i wonder if you open the "background app refresh", it's in setting-general-background app refresh.
It may also be caused by the new ios10.2.1.

Background app refresh what?

I don't have background refresh on but why would that be the reason?

I just don't get it, nothing works and it's only when I'm sleep move. It's like the phone turns its network off completely.

I mean you should turn "background app refresh" on, so that you can receive the iMessage, Facebook or Instagram when the phone is sleeping.
If not, it may be a problem caused by the new ios10.2.1.

Notifications aren't related to background app refresh as far as them being received by the device goes.
