IPhone newbie

I have a new IPhone from eBay.
What should i do in order to check it is in good condition ? Like key checking in the traditional mobile phone?
I am using AT&T prepaid phone card. I heart about it has a data package also fit for prepaid , is there any way i can use it ? I want to use GPS and google map when i am traveling around US.

you probably should have looked these things before buying one...

i'd recommend taking an hour out of your life and using www.google.com

finding the information you need is a lot better than it being spoon fed to you.

If you wanted a used iphone, your best bet would have been getting a refurb from best buy.
They sell them now. At least with those you know they work, you may pay a few dollars more but its peace of mind it will work and a lot of the cheap i phones on ebay are broken or stolen
