i relle just have one question about the iphone..i got prob. around 50 gigs of music and my goal in life is to put all that music on the iphone lol so the question is will there ever be and iphone 80, 160 gig like they did for the ipod classic?

There will be, but remember that the iPhone uses flashed-based memory, not a hard drive, so it will likely be another two generations before it gets over 64GB.
Seriously, for you to be able to put in your 50GB music collection, it'd be at least until June/July 2011. That's when the next capacity upgrade is due.

and yes, the memory is flash based as well but that...that's just common fact.
When you have something constructive, you can post it - until then there might be a better use of everyone's time. There are users of all varying knowledge on here and ones with all different intents.

Correcting someone isn't constructive?! But I'm grateful for the guy that corrected my pronunciation of fajita =\ Besides, that word should have it's spelling changed to reflect its pronunciation in ENGLISH! After all when I travel to Mexico MY name becomes gringo.
Also, it is implemented as storage. Memory would be considered the chips that are used for the purpose of loading information off of the storage to be used by the device's processor. Just saying, it's a completely miniscule matter, nothing to flame about...but I can never resist a good flaming

1. Suffice to say I was making a point to being called "non-constructive"
2. Laptop drives have already bounded from the 64gb when the MacBook Air was released to over 256gb now. I would be happy with a 256 gigger as my drive is a 250gb. The world moves so fast these days, the next update will likely be a storage increase to the 3Gs, making it 64gb before the next iPhone comes out.
3. It was a techical flub, not grammatical. Just saying it would be dumb to let someone say "put some new gaskets on the headers" when they meant to say manifolds and let the person who received the advice go on his way of wasting his time repairing the wrong part.
