iPhone not asking for Passcode after 18.2.1 update reboot

Did something recently change from Apple?

Because as I can remember, every time my iPhone restarts especially after completing the iOS updates, it would ask me to enter my SIM PIN and then after my Passcode.

I just noticed that I had an update for 18.2.1 and my phone rebooted and then I realized that it just asked me only for the SIM PIN but not my Passcode.

I only have a Passcode set on my iPhone and nothing else.

Never mind.

I actually tested this by forcing a manual shutdown and when turning the phone on again it did ask for the pass code then my SIM PIN.

But I do recall that before iOS 18, even after a simple reboot after completing the iOS updates it asks for the Passcode as well. But I may be wrong about this.
