iPhone not identifying with network

I would really appreciate some help with this guys.

I just upgraded my JB 3GS running on 3.0 to 3.1 via pwnage tool. However, my phone cannot detect that its on an AT&T network.

Not only is the carrier logo missing, but the about page doesn't show AT&T either. Data, visual voicemail and voice calls are all working (although the data is extremely slow).

I've tried pwning twice with the most basic settings (only install Cydia) and on both occasions have set up my phone as new. I've also reset my network settings. I don't think it's any package im installing because the problem occurs immediately after jailbreak, before installing any packages.

Does anybody have any idea on whats going on? Thanks.

It's a known bug with JB 3.1

Same thing, difference is my network runs normal.
