not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

at work today I updated my calender on my 3g iPhone, expecting when I got home to have the updated calender appear on my iCal program on my desktop.

the new info did not appear on my desktop iCal.

I did a test and created a new appointment on my desktop, and sure enough it appeared on my iPhone.

so it would seem that new appointments made on the phone wont sync 'over the air' yet they will if made on the desktop....

any ideas anybody?? or is this another quirk of the ever failing MobileMe? :(

It is supposed to update every 15 minutes on the computer. If it isn't it may be a setting or for some reason MM can't find your computer.

I am having the exact same problem. I have done a couple of tests creating events on my imac, macbook air, and my iphone. Everything syncs fine except when I create an event on my iphone. It doesn't show up on either of my computers or me.com

Not sure exactly what the problem is.

yup, makes no sense, and I know that it HAS worked with the new iPhone update.
I've changed no settings, so am presuming this is yet another bug with MobileMe

what's interesting is that it isn't supposed to push when events are created from the desktop. i usually experience a few minutes lag there, but events created from my phone or from the web push to my devices just fine. let's hope the mobileme experience gets better and more reliable over time.

I made an appointment with the mac geniuses today concerning this problem. They confirmed that it wasn't working as it should. However, after they did a complete restore of the iPhone everything is working just as it should.

Maybe all it needs is a complete restore.
