So I had Jailbreak installed onto my iPhone so I could do custom ringtones. Worked fine, was going to get SSH up and running on my iPhone as well. Followed steps, hit a snag, was going to just update the iPhone firmware to the new 1.0.1, halfway through install iTunes gives me an error and my iPhone shuts off and goes to the "Please Connect to iTunes" screen. iTunes will no longer recognize the iPhone so I can't initiate a restore. Any way to restore it?

I once read that someone put the iPhone in the dock and iTunes finally recognised it and they were able to restore. (worth a try)

for some reason itunes wont recognize my iphone as well, it did a few days ago, but i guess it dosent feel like it now. I did some mods to my iphone, but i didnt bypass anything. Damn, this sucks!
