iPhone not recognized in DFU

Hi Everybody,

I'm having issues with my phone, it is the 2g model. Basically the phone is not recognized by iTunes in any way at all. I've tried both restore mode as well as DFU mode and I get nothing.

Is there anything that can be done to get a restore started on it?

Have you tried using different USB Ports, different iPhone Cable, and different computers? If any of those make it work, then you have something wrong with your iPhone Cable, the computer usb ports, or something else.

this is an issue with the 10.5.6 update. try using a usb hub and see if problem is still here
