Hi everyone,

My Mac won't see the iPhone when connected via cable, no matter what.
I tried:

- resetting iPhone settings
- force-restarting iPhone
- restarting the MBP M1
- checking the cable - other devices actually show up on the mac

On "system information" it won't show up.
The iPhone will charge, but no "trust this mac/iPhone" popup show up.

I'd be glad for any help with this.

Thanks a lot

When you mention it doesn't see the iPhone, which app do you mean?

As I mentioned, not even System information sees it.
But also Photos, or trying to share my hotspot via cable.

If you connect your iPhone to your Mac and open Coconut Battery, does Coconut battery see your iPhone?
No, it just keep looking for devices...

Have you checked that your iPhone has USB Accessories enabled?

I didn't even know this setting existed.
Anyway, I have an iPhone SE 1st gen, and it was fine for a while. Now it's been a long time it doesn't show up on my Mac and I wanted to solve this thing.

Yeah it exists and allows for USB connectivity to work when the phone is locked.
Unfortunately that's not what's preventing my phone to connect to the Mac, though.
