iphone not showing up on desktop when plugged in

so i searched and found lots of threads about it not showing up in itunes but none about the desktop, so if this has been covered please link me.


as of yesterday, my iphone will no longer have an icon on the desktop when i plug it into my computer... it shows up in itunes and i can still manage it as normal however there is no longer an icon on the desktop. not really a HUGE problem but sometimes i forget its plugged in and just detach it which is no bueno.


any ideas?

Because it doesn't show up there... ever. You can't use it as a disk straight off.

It's so annoying that it doesn't show up there, though. I always forget it's plugged in too.
