So, iPhone is out in late June, and Leopard is out around October. No problem - I don't think I could handle the excitement of playing with both in the same month anyway. But the Leopard delay raises a question - how will iPhone's Leopard-specific features work? I mean those features that will require Leopard on your computer.
Notes, for instance. iPhone features those quite prominently on the home screen, and I for one will be using them a whole lot, I can tell. What will happen with those before Leopard comes out? Remember, Leopard's Apple Mail will have a (system-wide) Notes feature. This will presumably sync with iPhone so you could read and create notes on either device. Great!
But what do we do until Leopard? Not sync at all, leave the notes entirely on iPhone? Lame, but oh well.
Sync them with iTunes, or Stickies, or some other app until Leopard comes out, then switch to Leopard's Notes? Awkward.
Will there be a software update adding just that functionality to Mail even before Leopard? That would be great for the user, but a headache for Apple's developers, I'm sure.
Maybe Notes isn't the most important feature of iPhone OR Leopard, but what do you think Apple will do with such intersections of the two between June and October?
