iphone now or later?

Hi all,

i've had a pretty long history of phones from blackberry's to nokia's and i thought long and hard looking at my current options (e.g. nokia n900) and decided upon getting an iphone.

however being an apple fan i know they like bringing out new better models quite frequently.. i guess my question is whether it would be worth it to get the iphone 3gs in about a month or so? or are there rumours of any big releases like the iphone 4g around the corner?

There will most likely be another iPhone in June 2010. So it's your call whether you want to wait or not.

time Iphones historically released in June almost promise you the next phone will be out in June now if it's a 4G a 3G E or some other name and what fetures it will have nobody knows. thouh people will claim they do! unless it was Steve Jobs telling you I would say Liar or guesser.

I say get it now. I'm in the same position as you, picking up one next week, but it's not even a question I would ask myself. New iPhones come out in June. You're always going to be waiting for one. If you need it now, get it. June is a long time away.

Come June, I plan to just try and sell the iPhone I'm about to get and then pay full retail for the new one.

try to look at what new things will the 4G iphone might have?

maybe 5.0 MP camera?

maybe more colors

maybe HD 720p playback?

who knows?

just get it man!

when the iphone 3G S came out the only diffrence between both, were 3.0 MP camera and video recording and it's speed!. and that's it!

makes you wonder what will be the diffrence between and iphone 3G S and a 4G?

I'm curious what the next iPhone will have implemented. I mean AT&T and verizon are both rolling out LTE 4G networks so yeah....I say get the 3GS, that's what Im doing.

I doubt Apple will even make the next iPhone a 4G phone. If it takes the networks the same amount of time to roll out 4G that it did 3G it's not even really plausible for most people.
