iPhone on T-Mobile Pay As You Go

Hi,

I am planning on getting a T-Mobile Pay-As-You-Go plan for use in an iPhone. The plan includes cheap minutes, and $1/day for unlimited web and txt. Will it be possible to just buy the T-Mobile SIM card and activate the service using the unlocked iPhone? Or will I have to buy a T-Mobile phone to activate the SIM?

It's fine just using the iPhone, you don't need an extra phone. You might need to check out how to set up the data APN though. (I remember BigBoss used to host a T-Zone hack for prepaid, but I'm not sure if it's still needed or not)

Thanks for your answer. However, I'm completely new to this. Are you saying that you have to use a hack to use the T-Mobile prepaid web?
