I'd like to buy an iPhone for myself on a T-Mobile plan. However, is this still supported with the new plans? If so, which ones?

Also, is it possible to use iPhone data, messaging, and calling from a PYP GoPhone plan?

Not sure about the Pay as you go plans, but T-mobile works great on the iphone. everything works. iTunes, App Store, YouTube etc..

ok i need this answer quick would the t mobile pay as you go pre paid data plan work on th iphone 2g with all data (youtube, app store, cydia, ect.)

need the answer now

Close enough :D
The VV isnt a big deal to me but the slow 2G speeds kinda killed it.

I don't know. I guess maybe I'm just used to it. I've used EDGE out here for 5years.

To be honest, when I had my blackberry, using the web it took forever to load pages. On the iPhone on EDGE (tmo) it doesn't seem to take so long, same with loading Twitter and Facebook.

Granted it's not 3G but EDGE is fine for me :D

doesnt answer my question i have both iphone 3g n 2g n i wann ahave my pay as you go t mobile for iphone 2g will it work answers need soon

well t mobile did block data from pre paid service on iphone would it b the same on pay as you go or are they two different services

I don't really understand that question...

you say they blocked prepaid plans? Since when?
why don't you call Tmo and ask them about a data plan for an iphone. they won't shun you.

I am on the G1 Unlimited for $35, works fine.

well a couple months ago a reg. pre paid plan was blocked for iphones bc t mobile was able to tell where the data singal was coming from so they blocked it to iphones

I think that was only for a few days and then right after that it worked again.
My brother is using the $9.99 unlimited internet plan on his unlocked iphone on tmobile but he's not on prepaid though. So Im not 100% on it

T-Mobile in the UK works fine! (On 3G as well).

I have a PAYG sim card, and paid £10 for unlimited data for the first month - along with another £10 for call credit.

As long as I top up £10 per month I get unlimited data.

If your phone is unlocked (via jailbreak or factory unlock) you should be able to put pretty much any sim card in and receive service.

The T-Mobile iPhone I have was given to my son, I then bought an iPhone 3GS and have signed up with Orange on a sim only 30 day rolling contract. I pay £22.50 per month and get 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited data! (I got a 10% preferred customer discount because of my job!)

Yea I can't imagine Tmo being such douchebags about iPhones and their pay as you go plan.

to OP, call Tmo and talk to them. They will have more info on this.
