iphone on tmobile. can I turn off data and only use wifi.

On tmobile can I turn off data services and just use wifi.
How do I do that and if I was to use data does it have to be the ulimated data that would suck

if your on an NON official carrier you have to enter the log in and password for the data services - if you don't know it or never enter it then it won't work.

The settings are under settings>network>EDGE.

If you want to occasionally use the data network then just remove the last letter of the log in and then you can put it back anytime.

And use the "Search" if you want the T-Mobile settings.

yeah - just turn the EDGE connection off in Settings and when you want internet just head on and turn Wifi on.
