Iphone on Verizon?

Will this ever be occuring soon. My Ipod Touch broke recently and I am on the edge of getting a new one but i'd hate to have bought a Touch when a Iphone might be comming to my network Verizon soon

Anyone know if its in the making or am i safe to get a ipod?

Don't buy an ipod... The iPhone is rumored to come out on verizon on Feb. 9th... I suggest you go wait in line at your local verizon retailer so you can be one of the first to grab it at midnight.
