Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone. However, experiencing 10 dropped calls per day while I'm at my house is extremely aggravating. I am beginning to wonder if it has to do with the iPhone because I've noticed other people who are at my house getting better reception with regular cell phones or different pdas. I've looked and talked to AT&T and they said I was in an OK reception area, but shouldn't be getting this many dropped calls.

Has anyone experienced a drop in reception quality with the iPhone? Any ideas how I can fix this?

It's been really frustrating because I've had many important calls dropped and I can't keep having to deal with it during business hours.

Since I upgraded my 1st gen iphone to 2.0, my reception has gotten worse. I get less bars in places I used to get full bars. Sometimes it takes a while for my phone to regain signal when coming from a "no service" area in my work building. Before 2.0, as soon as a walked outta the "no service" area, I would get my signal back.

I just find that overall the 2.0 upgrade has made my iphone worse.

My reception is the same IF I have 3G turned off.

With it on, I either end up with 'no signal' at some point or a call gets dropped while switching from 3G to Edge (presumably).

Right now, it only seems to be worth using 3G when I'm stationary, want to use the Internet, and don't have Wi-Fi.
