iPhone OS 4.0 - what is "iPod Out"?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what this means?
Will this mean application like Amidio Touch DJ will finally have access to the iTunes Library?? If thats not what is is, is there a new API to support it?

Nobody knows for sure just yet. There's speculation in another thread and I'm too tired to go digging through support material or the SDK itself.
