"iPhone uses OS X, the world’s most advanced operating system. Which means you have access to the best-ever software on a handheld device, including rich HTML email, full-featured web browsing, and favorite applications including Address Book and Calendar. iPhone is also fully multi-tasking, so you can read a web page while downloading your email in the background. This software completely redefines what you can do with a mobile phone."

Just the phrase makes me laugh, even if true on 1.x

The iPhone does multitask, but not for 3rd party applications unless you Jailbreak. Heres some examples:

- Use other apps while on a phone call
- Browse the web while on a phone call
- Listen to music while using a different app
- Read a text while in the middle of an app
- Use Voice Memos while in another app
- Download an app while in an app

Those are just a few examples. So it does multitask, just not for 3rd party applications. People don't really realize how the iPhone does multitask, and if these features were taken away, people would start realizing.

THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING THIS SIR.

Oh wait, no. We all get this.

I didn't think you could read a text while in another app? I thought if you clicked view it would close whatever you were doing?
