I can't get the search to properly search my calendar. It'll do up to a year (at a push!) but seems to ignore anything more in the past than that.

Even if I for example go back to 2007, list the calendar so the info is right there - it won't find it!

Am I missing something here?

The calendar is MS Outlook on my PC but I also enter data from the iPhone and then back onto the PC. Don't have any problem wit this side of things. Any ideas?

Thanks

How far back have you told iTunes to sync the calendar? For instance, mine goes back 1000 days, so I wouldn't be able to find events more than three years old.

I forget what the default is, but check that.

Thanks Ntombi - I've tried this with no success.

Its seems that before a certain time it just won't pick up the info on a search. I'm surprised no-one else has had this problem.

I did a factory restore as well - no joy.

Shame as the iPhone search would have definitely made it "bombproof" - ie no competition would touch it! However......
