I had a bunch of photos I took with the camera, 180 to be exact, and I deleted them when the camera thing popped up in Vista. So I cleaned those out but left 3 pictures. I synced over 1000 photos to my phone and everytime I click the photos or camera app, it crashes.

I have 2.0.2.
White iPhone 3G 16GB

I did a restore last night and backed up my phone and it STILL wouldn't work. Any one know how to fix it or have had this problem and know a trick to it? I really dont want to sync my phone again.

Thanks.

What size where the pictrues? Maybe the 1000 photos was to much for the phone. I know it resizes but just a thought. I have over a thousand photos as well on my gen1 phone with no issues. Now that I think of it I did not resize all of them before syncing so maybe not the issue.

Just regular pictures... It shows up that they're on there. I still have 2.5 Gigs of space left.

Same problem with our iphone 3G 8GB, 2.0.2. Camera and Photos applicatations crash within seconds of starting.

The problem started after trying to save five photos sent to the phone in an email message from a known and trusted sender.

Tried "Reset All Settings," but hesitant to try "Erase All Content and Settings." (Worried about potential inability to restore from backup.)
