Hope I do not get shot down here but I just got myself the new LG KE850 Prada phone. One of the first to hit the UK. It is a beaut :p

I will save you some time by saying it does not run OS X, have Safari, motion sensors, light sensors, widgets, two finger touchy thingey, wi-fi, iPod.

BUT it is dammed slick, sleek and so in my hands right now. And, yes, it does do what I bought it for ;)

The UI is really classy and smooth. Way ahead of any other mobiles about. I have in my drawer a Sony P910i, Sony W900, and lots of oldies I should have ebayed.

It is not, and I am aware of this, the iPhone. But it actually exists right now and I have it so there!!! ner ner ner ner.

Oh, anyone know how to get it to work with iSync? I had to bluetooth 108 contacts from my W900 one by one! me the fool!

Must have been expensive.

I'll admit it, they look sexy. After watching the demonstration video on engadget though, I am not really impressed (with the Prada). The touch screen and software doesn't impress me. That's what will be great about the iPhone- multitouch and OS X. Hope you enjoy it though. :)

I'ts just great to have a slick looking phone. Yes it is nowhere near as featured as the iPhone but I have been waiting six months already and nearley ended up with the new slim SE walkman which did not really take my fancy.

As for price it cost me the princely sum of sweet FA. Here in the motherland mobiles are free - you just sign up for another years contract. I had to get a £35 month plan for this handset though. If I had got another older handset the network actually gives you money and half price line rental.

Looks amazing though and in the UK I will have to wait till end of year for iPhone. May sign a new contract in Jan for one. For FREE!
