iPhone problems overseas, can't make calls :(

My sister, her husband and I all have iPhones that we bought a few weeks ago.

As we flew into Germany they both recieved texts saying, "welcome to Germany!"... mine did not.

They can make calls, accept calls, and they are connected to certain services now that we are in Austria (like "one")...

Everytime I try to connect to a CARRIER it says "network lost- you no longer can access this carrier" or whatever that message is.

What happened? We're all on the same plan but I can't make or recieve calls

Did you call your carrier to turn on International roaming?

Not as far as I know, but like I said my sister and her husband are on the same plan as me and they could make calls the second we got here.

If you are on Att you have to call them to have international roaming turned on.
