iPhone Problems

everytime I slide to unlock, the "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone" dialogue box comes up. I tried turning the phone off, but it automatically came back on and the same box popped up again. It also comes up when I plug it into anything, the charger, my computer, etc. is there anything i can do, or do i have to drive the 2.5 hours to an apple store? it also will not charge now.

sounds like a possible hardware issue, but you won't really know until you do a restore from itunes, best in DFU mode. try that, it might fix it. if thats not it, and it does turn out to be hardware related, return it to apple as a hardware issue and they probably won't give you too many problems.
