Hello all!

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section)

I'm new to the whole programming in general and I want to start creating a few apps for the iphone. I've purchased three books that I found recommended on here and a few other sites.

Learn C on the Mac
Learn Objective-C on the Mac
Beginning iPhone Development.

I've read about 80% of the Learn C on the Mac book, browsed a few chapters on the Objective-C book and have started a few of the example codes in Beginning Iphone Development. So far, I'm grasping an idea oh how to use Xcode and IB.

I'm still feeling really lost because don't know anyone near me that can answer my random questions besides on here. So i'm looking for a tutor or someone that would be nice enough to spend a few hours on basic understanding to help me connect the dots. So if you're in the Los Angeles area, I would love some assistance.

Please send me a message. Thanks!

Aloha Kerry,

Fire up iTunes and go to iTunes U. Stanford University is posting videos of their current iPhone programming course. They are really good, and you can get the Keynote slides as PDFs. They also have a website (sorry, I don't remember the URL) where you can download additional notes, as well as the assignments.
