I have an iPhone 3GS and the proximity sensor is not turning the screen off when I make a call. I've been hunting for days and I can't find any reasons other than that case obstruction or cracks etc. but I dont have any. It is jailbroken, but I can't think of this having any effect on it.

This leads me onto my next question: its within 90 days support (Apple site says so) but I bought it on eBay so I don't have receipt etc. Will i still get support for it? Or a replacement?

One final thing: iTunes is resyncing my iPhone of all its music every time I plug it in. While its not a problem, it is annoying, especially since its 16gb and takes about 15 mins to do and if i want to go and not wait for it to finish i end up with only half the songs on my iphone.

Thanks for any help you can give me
