So I use the same screen unlock code for my iPad and iPhone, the same code I've used on several devices for a while now.
I just turned my phone off for about a half hour, turned it on and now it won't accept my passcode and is disabled for 60 mins.
I realize there are plenty of people that might just forget the passcode or something, but I didn't, I use the same code on several devices, and have for years, and they all work fine.
This wouldn't be the end of the world because I can just hook it up to my laptop or PC (both of which I use to put music on this all the time and are both authorized) but suddenly neither of them are authorized and it is asking me to accept/trust the computer on my locked phone. Which obviously I can't do.
So this is the weird part, my iPhone 6 Plus' name was Guilty Spark, which I double check and I don't have any other device with that name.
I am noticing that the name is now "Guilty Spark(2)" when it is asking my phone for permission to use it.
So essentially, it seems the name of my phone has been randomly changed, the 100% definite passcode doesn't work, and now neither of my computers can backup the device so I'm looking at losing all kinds of REALLY important stuff because of this?
I've never had an issue like this with an apple product, I'm really at a loss and don't know what to do.
I think after 1-2 more passcode attempts it is going to permanently disable my phone.
