iphone reboots and hangs

i have an unlocked iphone (older model) have been using this for over a year now without any problems. a few days ago it started to reboot by itself and hangs. tried the hard reboot method but it just says searching...on top. i cant even slide to unlock it. thanks.

Put it into DFU mode, and then do a restore in iTunes and rejailbreak/reunlock it.
