I'm having a problem that whenever my iphone is asleep i get no bars on the reception icon, and because the iphone believes I have no reception whenever I recieve a phone call...it goes straight to my voicemail after 1 ring (I tried this myself as well by calling my iphone). However whenever it is not in sleep mode (when its on the main menu, active) it goes back to full reception, as well if i leave it in the charger or hooked up via usb to my computer it also maintains the reception. But as soon as I unhook it from a power supply whether it be the charger or computer, and its no longer active and goes back to sleep mode....i lose the reception completely again until theres activity again, like going back to the main menu....

I've had the phone for over a month now but it just started acting up today. I tried restarting the iphone (turning off, turning on) as well as turning it on airplane mode, rebooting the iphone, and then turning off airplane mode... still cant resolve the issue.
This is a unlocked iphone, but is there any suggestions?

The only thing that may help would be a restore, but that may break your unlock. And being unlocked and all you can't really take it to Apple. Don't really know what else to say.

by any chance do you have summerboard and if you do then it could be killing your signal by having this power management thing. If its not that then your unlock did something to the unlock but hey restore it and unlock it again what can happen. :D
