iphone recharge on mac and pc?

I want to travel this holidays - I have a regular (non-jailbroken) iphone. I usually hook it up to my G5 Mac at home - but I want to travel on holidays. I only have an older HP laptop and was wondering if I can recharge it with that? (nothing to sync with on my pc's itunes music-wise)

Will I run into any issues with sync'ing? I don't want to lose my songs, pics etc.

Any hints or thoughts?

I dont see why it would be a problem, all your doing is charging it. Its not going to force a sync or anything. I charge mine at work on the Dells sometimes, never had a problem.

ok, that's what I hoped, but I didn't want to corrupt my sync list or anything of the sort...thanks

Just dont sync it and you will be fine, which is sounds like you cant anyway (no iTunes).
