I bought an Apple refurbished iPhone 6 Plus almost 3 years ago and I'm still using it (even with the original battery at 96%/961 load cycles) and it still works like new and looks great still too. Zero issues. Granted I kept it on its original OS so it's still fast (enough).
No, I have not.
But I have bought a refurb Nano and Shuffle from Apple and they lasted a good long time. My former boss bought a refurb Mac from Apple and as far as I know it's still working today.
I actually trust Apple refurbs more than new if that means anything to you.
I have. And Apple’s refurbished units are excellent. They will resemble almost a new device, the only really thing used with an iPhone 7 would be the logic board, everything else should be replaced as you already mentioned, aside from the one year warranty included.
Apple sadly doesn't sell refurbished iPhones in Canada for some reason, but I would certainly consider it if they did. I did buy a refurbished Macbook Air from Apple almost 6 years ago and it's still running great and I've never had an issue with it. Original battery still even holds 95% of its charge!
If you’re still using the 6 plus as a daily driver then I highly recommend updating to iOS 12.
