Hey all,

So I setup my apple watch 3 and the reminders now do not occur on my iPhone (4s). I set a reminder in my phone, and the notification does pop up on my watch and computer, but not on my phone. When I go into the reminders app, I see that it is red indicating that it has happened. I have them enabled in notifications, but am I missing something else? Any advice at all would be appreciated.

I had this problem but don't remember how I fixed it. What's funny is my coworker just asked me the same thing yesterday. Are you getting the notification box on your iPhone and just no sound or are you getting nothing on your iPhone?

Your phone gets bypassed to go straight to the watch. If I get a text, it goes to my watch with a vibration but my phone does not also light up. This is by design. But the text/other notification will be on your phone, it just doesn’t light up.

Seems as if americafirst is able to have notifications on both. I can be convinced this is a new default, but can I set it up to have notifications on both?
[doublepost=1528984655][/doublepost]Well then, seems as if I can confirm your story. I turned off the notification on my watch and did a test. Now it shows up on my iPhone just fine (but not my watch, obviously). It's weird that you can't have the notification on both, especially when the option to turn on the notification on the watch is called "mirror my iPhone" and not "override my iPhone". Somewhat misleading and I'd rather have both. Oh well... Thanks anyway!

I will look at my watch when I get home tonight and have a chance to charge it. It seems I had to turn the volume on the watch all the way down, but I don't recall for sure. I know I did it but I don't remember how I did it.
