I recently upgraded to 1.1.3 using the new jailbreak method, went to use the ipod app and it wasnt working...turned off my iphone, switched it back on and its now stuck repeatedly showing the apple logo

I've tried holding the menu button/power button to reset, and tried putting it into restore mode and using ibrickr to bust it out...neither have helped. When i used ibrickr, the screen went red, but stayed that way for a good 15 minutes..i switched it off, turned it back on, was greeted with the apple logo..again

the phone keeps turning itself on and off id say every 10-15 minutes...even in restore mode it managed to switch itself off, get itself out of restore mode and show me my favourite apple logo.

When i plug it into iTunes, the iphone displays normally, i can sync etc without problem...it just keeps displaying the apple logo!!

i havnt tried restoring it just yet, am downloading the file as we speak, but before i do was hoping for some insight from you guys...anyway to fix this without having to go through the entire downgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak, upgrade to 1.1.2, jailbreak again method?

Any help would be much apreciated! thanks!

Hi
I have the same problem, but being a complete technical simpleton, have no idea how to restore my iphone back to normality. could you take pity on me and explain how you are going about restoring your phone and where you are getting your files from?

thanks sir. it worked this time (i think the difference must have been my stupidity or using jailbreak.jar to break 1.1.1 instead of INdependence????)

Take care.
