Hey please help me i am having an unlocked iPhone 2g and the firmware is 2.2.1 which i upgraded recently from 1.1.4.
but the problem which i used to face that the phone gets switched off randomly is still taking place.
i m worried..
Please help asap.

Restore it? Is there any particular reason why it's doing this? When does it do it, or is it TOTALLY random, and will happen even when you're not using?

Its totally random. i have restored my phone twice for this and even upgraded it to 2.2.1 from 1.1.4 but still it continues. And as you asked it turns off randomly evn while i am using it or even when i m not using, YES it does anytime.
i m worried please help.

It could be a hardware fault. If a restore doesn't fix it, take it to the Apple store and they'll run a diagnostic on it. :)

its a jailbroken unlocked 2g phone and i m using it in india. i am not sure what to do.. ??

PLEASE HELP...

It even turns off even when i m speaking on the phone, writing some note...

i m worried...

Completely restore your phone to factory settings, leaving no signs of Jailbreak. Then ring up Apple, or go to a store. I'm not sure if there are any in India though.

no there aint any... + there is no warranty..

it usually turns off when battery is half or less than half...
