Hey there,
I recieved an iPhone 2G 4GB from a friend today with the front glass severely cracked, however it was still in working order. I could still screw around with it. I went into settings and did a full erase. It took maybe an hour, and then asked me to plug it into iTunes. I had to wait about a half hour to get home to my computer to do so, and now the phone will not recognize it is plugged into the computer. My stereo will recognize it, but my iMac G5 won't. Any ideas as to what may solve this? Thanks!

Okay, it is taking charge apparently now. It keeps asking to be plugged in, and it is. I have also tried swapping the invalid SIM in it with mine. Any ideas?
