hey how do you get that to be posted along with your post?
I think it is fairly safe to say that anyone posting/reading this section of the forums loves their iPhone. At least anyone who owns one and is posting/reading in this section of the forums.
I can't tell because most posts have been negative, which is why I stopped coming. But I love my iPhone. My disappointments are few, and I understand it's a 1st gen anyway.![]()
I will love it when they fix Safari when it stops freakin' crashing on every third page I visit. That's not an exaggeration, either, it really is THAT unstable.
Don't fix it if it isn't broken. In other words, you don't have much business here if your stuff is working flawless.
For the record...my Safari does not crash - ever. I have multiple pages open (usually by accident) and it's never crashed - before the update and after the update.
I've posted as much in another thread and someone called me a liar.
There seems to be a wide range of user experience. I'm not sure why, but for those that have trouble...they have plenty. Others...not so much. And me...well, I must be covered in Safari Angel Dust.
Out of curiosity, how much free space do you have left? I had this issue as well but considered a lack of free space to be the culprit. So, I back off of my filled-to-the-brim approach and leave a couple of hundred megs free. Ever since, the problem has gone away.
I hope this helps.
I have over 3.5 GB free and it's crashy crashy crashy, so that's not it. It does seem to crash more on EDGE than on WiFi, although that might just be because it has more time to work on it between data packets. It's all sorts of websites too, not just weird, complicated ones. MacRumors crashes quite often, actually, and it's a pretty clean, simple site. It really is unacceptable in its current form, but no doubt Apple is working on the bugs as we speak.Out of curiosity, how much free space do you have left?
