I got a new iPhone 8 plus and I'm noticing that at times, the screen goes unresponsive. Its not the entire screen, but a certain part of it. Sometimes I'll be in messages and can't go back; but if I wanted to type a message, that would work fine. Sometimes I try to click on an app and nothing happens. Is this an iOS problem or hardware related? I'm on ios 11.2

I have the iPhone X and have the same issue. Especially when it’s cold, it gets worst.
I’ll keep tapping the screen and it won’t respond at all. Extremely annoying.
Then sometimes the screen will freeze and I’ll get the spinning wheel.
